User Manual for Mavis 1.0

Introduction

Mavis is an analysis software designed to be used in analysing the measurement data produced by Ikayaki software and SQUID magnetometer. Mavis can be seen as an "stand-alone" extension to the original Ikayaki software and it shares the same look-and-feel with Ikayaki. More importantly Mavis introduces new features, that can be used to visually analyse the measurement data, that can not be found from Ikayaki (versions 1.0 and 1.1). The 1.0 version of this software was produced as a Software Engineering Project at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Helsinki during spring 2006 by group MAVIS.
