Admission process
- Students submit applications and appendices by the given deadline. They must have a committed supervisor who is willing to supervise them for the whole period of PhD studies and who will try the best to provide other funding if the student is only accepted to an adjunct position.
- Supervisors submit recommendations by the given deadline.
- Other researchers submit recommendations by the given deadline.
- Each application with appendices and recommendations is reviewed by three board members (or expert researchers in the field of the application). Each reviewer gives an overall grade to the application.
- Applications are ranked according to the average overall grade.
- The board decides on whom to accept according to the ranking. The best applicants may receive funding from the doctoral programme, others are accepted for adjunct positions and some may be rejected
- The applicants are notified.
- The applicants notify the doctoral programme if they accept their funded or adjunct position.
- Applicants who accept their doctoral programme position must also enrol at one of the parent universities.
