Study Circle Project
Computer Organization I, Spring 2007, Extra Study Circle Project PR 2 (8 pp)
Report contents are defined in the Study Circle description and the report deadline is give in course schedule page. This project may not be returned late!
- Give model solutions and grading guidelines for the course exam.
The idea is, that the study circle would go through the exam together and produce a model solution with coarse grading guidelines. This sub-project is trying to achieve the same goals that the usual exam feedback event would have. Unfortunately, our current course structure does not make it possible to go through the exam in classroom.
- Produce a 2-3 page article (good language, plain text, no pictures, no graphs) on "Computer Organization I as a study circle course". Consider for example the following features (but probably not all of them):
- What were the learning goals for the course and did you achieve them?
- Did the opening and summary lecture web lectures support the learning goals and did you find them useful? Did you use the web to watch them?
- Did the web lectures support the learning goals and did you find them useful?
- Did the homeworks support the learning goals and were they discussed enough in group meetings?
- Did the discussion problems support the learning goals and were they useful?
- Did the projects support the learning goals?
- Did the titotrainer problems support the learning goals?
- Did the course exam measure the areas in learning goals?
- What should be done differently in this course, when it is next time offered as a study circle course?
