Hecse's annual cycle of events
- January
- Hecse students admitted in the application rounds in the autumn join the
school.
- "Old" students report about their activities for the previous years.
- February
- Hecse gettogether where students, supervisors and support team members
meet for a leisurely evening.
- January-March
- Old students meet with their support team to discuss their research plans
(1st support team meeting).
- April
- A possible pre-application phase opens, where students without a supervisor in Hecse can apply.
- Late spring or early autumn
- Hecse summer school with the annual poster session. Students meet their
support team to discuss their research (2nd support team meeting).
- August
- Hecse call for application opens.
- September
- Hecse call for application closes.
- October
- Evaluation of Hecse applications.
- Meeting of the Hecse Board. The Board takes the decision on admissions.
- November
- Accepted students are informed about admission decisions.
- December
- Accepted students must notify Hecse if they accept their admission
