Call for Abstracts
Who should attend?
The objective of this workshop is to bring together PhD students from different spontaneous networking related areas.
Conference Topics
Topics of Interest include, but are not limited to:
- Ad hoc networking and routing
- Vehicular computing
- Sensor networks
- Middleware architectures
- Architectures, protocols, and algorithms to cope with mobility, limited bandwidth, limited power and/or intermittent connectivity
- Publish/subscribe systems
- Wireless access technologies (e.g., mesh networks, personal area networks)
- Context awareness
- QoS architectures
- Security
- Trust and privacy
- Performance
Information for speakers
We will have two types of presentations:
1. Short presentations (25 minutes) will provide insights about new and preliminary (?) research. These presentations identify open questions in a certain domain and a plan on how to solve those problems. (2 op)
2. Long presentations (45 minutes) will provide a summary of complete research including design, implementation, and evaluation of the proposed approach. (3 op)
Abstract submission
You can send your abstract of 2 pages (for long presentation) or 1 page (for short presentation) to Tiina Niklander or Oriana Riva. One column format in txt or pdf is preferred.
