Student admission to Hecse

Hecse used to admit new students roughly once a year. Students were accepted to pursue their doctoral degree full-time in four years. The Hecse programme was finished at the end of 2015, thus, Hecse does not accept new students anymore.

Hecse had 25 funded positions for the period of 2012-2015. The number of vacant funded positions varied yearly. Positions without funding (adjunct positions) were also available and entitled the student to participate in Hecse events and to apply for Hecse travel funds. Students with already guaranteed funding (holding a research position or employed by a university research project) were encouraged to apply for these adjunct positions.
