GIST - Graphical Interface Solutions and Techniques
Teaching
The primary goal of our teaching is to offer concrete user interface
design skills to our students.
-
User
Interfaces (4 cr) is a tool course for students who will take
part in projects of interactive systems in software companies.
- User Interfaces II (3 cr) is an advanced course
emphasized on categories of good user interface solutions and
evaluation methods of these solutions. It will be lectured first
time on Fall 1999.
- We instruct also some software
engineering projects (6 cr) that offer our students a
possibility to solve realistic design problems and take into account
some real limitations of the resources available.
- If you would like to
deepen your knowledge in some specific area of user interface design,
you are welcome to the user interface groups of the
scientific writing course (4 cr).
