So is mine - I have my own tree where I do development.
In fact, all of my machines are using a custom kernel. I do not think I
have ever not, expect perhaps on my laptop.
What is your point?
I never ever said users must use a vendor kernel. I applaud users for
compiling their own kernel. I am glad you do.
