Sorry if I wasn't clear last night, twas late when I posted.

I'd love to be running a current kernel, but anything after 2.4.9
exhibits the same problem. It took me an evening of compiles to track
it down to 2.4.10, but thats about the limit of my diagnostic skills.

All help sincerely appreciated,

Kevin C.

Have you considered using 2.4.18 ????

You are a bit behind on the kernel releases.
