Well, I still see unnecessary recompiles. There's a lot of stuff to do
here, I think, which was already done in kbuild-2.5.

Seemingly. On Hawkeye, I sometimes get warnings of that kind (svc:
unknown version (4)). However, I can't tell what kind of system the
clients were. I've also heard about this warning from Potsdam and
Frankfurt.
