While watching TV, I will often see a freeze of the video input from the
card, and get the following error:

Note: see my /proc/interrupts near the end--the three devices in
question below--the bttv, 3ware, and adaptec--do not share interrupts with
each other (but do with other things).
The errors seem to occur during disk access (the RAID volume on the 3Ware
or writing CDs to a Yamaha2100S on the Adaptec card). Once in a while, it
results on a complete system lockup. During one of these lockups (while
using 2.4.14+0.7.79) the system eventually became responsive again, just
in time to log the following errors:
