In this report we present the activities at the department. We describe ongoing research and research projects as well as give a list of recent publications of the faculty according to their classification. We also present the faculty members and note their research interests as well as publications and contact information. We describe the educational program, graduate schools and courses taught at the department and also give a list of accepted theses and abstracts of the most recent Ph.D. theses. We give short descriptions of the department library and the computing facilities, and finally present an overview of our international relations. Index Terms
