Title: ContextLogger2: A tool for smartphone data collection
Abstract:
ContextLogger2 (CL2) is a software tool for smartphone data
collection, created primarily with research purposes in mind. It runs
unintrusively on a phone, and may, for instance, be useful in field
studies concerning user behavior. ContextLogger2 runs on S60 3rd and
5th Edition based devices, and supports the collection and periodic
uploading of context information such as GPS and GSM cell ID readings,
keypress times, application focus changes, etc. In this talk, I will
present the tool, briefly covering topics such as current feature set,
deployment, and implementation technology.
