are there 2.2.16 memory issues?

I've been hearing lately that there are memory issues with 2.2.16 and that
AC has released a fix patch to it. Is this true, if so, where can I get
the patch. I've looked in ftp://ftp.linux.org.uk/pub/linux/alan but not
found anything.
